Last week I was in Tel Aviv in Israel to train Shachar Ruberg in preparation for the European Under 19 Championships in Malta.
The one week training camp was from 10am - 1pm and 3pm - 6pm and again I was very impressed with his attitude and determination of this young player.
In the past year Shachar has really improved his score power and his concentration.
His playing technique is now more solid and he again broke a lot of my Academy training video records during the camp.
He has really worked hard on learning how to do my Academy routines.
We again worked on fine tuning his technique and designed a specific training program to prepare him for Malta.
His Manager Alert Zanf is doing everything he can to help Shachar in his preparation for Malta and he feels that Shachar is now a 30% better player than he was in Russia last year when he reached the last 16 in the European Under 19 Championship.
