Jason Devaney from Crossmolia Snooker Club in Ballina had a fantastic start to 2010 season when he won the Republic Of Ireland National Under 18 Snooker Championship and the RIBSA Under 19 Ranking event No.3 in in Caesars Palace Snooker Club in Galway on Saturday and Sunday.
In the final of both events Jason beat fellow Academy member David Cassidy from the Crucible Snooker Club in Cork.
The score in the U-18 National final was 3-0 and in the Under 19 ranking Event it was 3-1.
This win for Jason was the final piece of the jigsaw he wanted to completed his set of all under age National Irish Snooker Titles in the Republic Of Ireland.
In 2005 he won the Under 14 Title, In 2007 he won the Under 16 Title, In 2009 he won the Under 19 and Under 21 Titles and now in 2010 he won the Uder 18 Title to join very few players to complete the full set of all under age National Snooker Titles.
Both players are focused on qualifying for the European Under 19 Championships in Malta in March
