David Cassidy from Cork warmed up before next weeks Israel 'IRISH' Maters when he won the Ivy Rooms U-17 six red ranjing event.
The final had two Irish number ones from last season when the under 14 number 1 player Josh Boileau faced the Irish number 1 U-16 David Cassidy in the best of 7 frame final.
David won the high quality final 4 frames to nil to take the title.
Daniel Dempsey and Karl Fitzpatrick reached the semi finals
Josh Boileau won the Highest Break with a 42 break.
The Israel ' Iriish ' Masters will start this thursday in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club Carlow.
The event has a high quality line up of six academy of champion members with David Hogan, Vincent Muldoon, David Cassidy, Greg Casey, Jason Devaney and Israel top player Shachar Ruberg.

500 EURO will go to the winner with 300 EURO to the runner up and 150 EURO to the player who finishes third in the event
