The newest International Snooker player to join my Academy Of Champions is 15 year old Shachar Ruberg from Israel.
Last week i travelled to Tel Aviv the capital of Israel to train Shachar on a one week training camp from 10am - 1pm and 3pm - 6pm.
I was very impressed with his attitude and determination to become a top player and he worked hard on learning how to do the routines.
Shachar broke some of Academy training video records during the camp and his scoring power increased daily and by the end of the camp he was achieving black academy levels in the routines.
We worked on fine tuning his playing technique and develop a specific training program to get him working hard on all aspects of his game.
Shachar trains daily in a professional studio containing a riley match table and it is one of the best training venues i have ever seen.
His training is recorded on four cameras and this makes his training venue unique.
His manager Albert Zant and father Yair and family support Shachar on and off the table and this professional approach will help him achieve more success.
Shachar will travel to Ireland next month where he will compete against other Academy Of Champions members in the ISRAEL ' IRISH ' MASTERS.
